L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-20112024-258779 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4600] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2024/KARTIKA 29, 1946 7477 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS (Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19th November, 2024 Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Styrene (ABS) (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2024 S.O. 4988(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with sub-section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, being of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Styrene (ABS) (Quality Control) Order, 2021, namely: 1. (1) This Order may be called the Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Styrene (ABS) (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2024. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Styrene (ABS) (Quality Control) Order, 2021, in paragraph 1, after sub- paragraph (2), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: "Provided that nothing in this Order shall apply to Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Styrene (ABS) Moulding and Extrusion Materials used for production of toco transducers."
