This notification (S.O. 4971(E), dated 19 November 2024) issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, in exercise of powers under clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), authorizes the officers named in the Schedule as competent authorities for land required for widening/four-laning, maintenance, management and operation on NH39 in the stretches from Km. 286.2 to Km. 287.45 and Km. 287.45 to Km. 313.7 in Madhya Pradesh; the Schedule designates the Sub Divisional Officer, Churhat as competent authority for the first stretch (village Sarra) and the Sub Divisional Officer, Gopad Banas for the second stretch, covering 26 villages including Ramgarh, Kubari, Kathautaha, Mirchwar, Badhaura, Tendua, Naugawan Darshan Singh, Sonwarsha, Panwar Chauhanan, Panwar Baghelan, Jamodi Sengaran, Naugawan Dhirsingh, Basondhaha, Muthigawan Kalan, Padara, Mohariya Kalan, Mudi, Sonakhand, Jogipur North Tola, Jogipur South Tola, Batauli, Kothar, Khairahi, Panwar Sengaran, Sidhi Khurd and Jorondha, all in Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh, effective from the date of publication; the notification is signed by Abhay Jain, Director, under file number LA/11013/LA/LAC MOM/2021/(E-154211).
