NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th August, 2025
S.O. 3767(E).— In exercise of powers conferred by Section 4 of the All India Institute of Medical
Sciences Act, 1956 (25 of 1956) as amended by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Act,
2012 (37 of 2012), the Central Government hereby nominates Lt. Gen. (Dr.) C. S. Narayanan to be
member of Institute Body of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Vijaypur (Samba), Jammu in place
of Prof. Y.K. Gupta and for that purpose makes the following amendment in the Notification of Government
of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Number Z-28016/178/2019-PMSSY.IV dated the 11th
March, 2020 published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) vide S.O. 1185(E) dated
the 20th March, 2020:
In the said Notification, against serial number 9 and the entry relating thereto, the following to be
substituted, namely:-
9. Lt. Gen. (Dr.) C. S. Narayanan
The term of Lt. Gen. (Dr.) C. S. Narayanan as member of the Institute Body of AIIMS Vijaypur
(Samba), Jammu shall be governed by the provisions contained in Section 6 of the All India Institute of
Medical Sciences Act, 1956.

Welfare, Number Z-28016/178/2019-PMSSY.IV dated the 11th March, 2020 published in the Gazette of
India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) vide S.O. 1181(E) dated the 20th March, 2020 and in exercise of the
power conferred by section 7(1) of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1956 (25 of 1956), as
amended by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2012 (37 of 2012), the Central
Government hereby nominates Lt. Gen. (Dr.) C. S. Narayanan as the President of All India Institute of
Medical Sciences, Vijaypur (Samba), Jammu.
