Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Council of Architecture (Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Council of Architecture Rules, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as principal rules), in rule 22A,- (a) In sub-rule (1), for the words "to file the nomination to contest the election in respect of vacancy in", the words "to be nominated by" shall be substituted; (b) In sub-rule (3), for the words "file nomination", the words "be nominated" shall be substituted. 3. In the principal rules, in rule 22B, in sub-rule (2), for the word "applications", the word "applicants" shall be substituted. [F. No. 4-7/2020-TS.VI] SAUMYA GUPTA, Jt. Secy.
