Commencement and operation of Rules made by the Bar Council of India:- Any Rule, amendment, substitution, insertion, repeal or modification of any Rule made by the Bar Council of India shall come into force from the date on which the resolution approving the same is passed by the Bar Council of India, unless the Bar Council of India, by such resolution, appoints any subsequent or prior date for its coming into force. The resolution approving such Rule, amendment, substitution, insertion, repeal or modification shall expressly specify the date from which the same shall come into force.
