S.O. 1620 (E), dated 31 March' 2023 issued under sub section (1) of the Section 20 A of the Railway Act 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project namely, Development of Freight and Coaching Terminal at Bijwasan in the state of Delhi. And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local newspapers, namely Danik Jagran & Indian Express dt. 14 Sept.2023 and revised gazette notification published on 10 October 2023, under sub section (4) of section 20 A of the said Act. And whereas, objection was received in this office vide diary no. 63758 dt. 27.09.2023, 67188 dt. 19.10.2023 and 67189 dt. 19.10.2023 same has been dismissed by CALA vide order No. ADM/LAC/SW/2023-24/8556 dated 27.01.2024. And objection received vide Diary No. 84154 dt. 22.12.2023, being time barred, was rejected. And whereas, pursuance of section (1) of section 20-E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Govt. Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the competent authority and in the exercise of the power conferred by sub section (1) of section 20-E of the said act the Central Govt. hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose. And further in pursuance to sub section (2) of section 20-E of the said act the Central Govt. hereby declares that on publication of this notification in official gazette the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
