L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-18102024-258036 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4175] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2024/ASVINA 24, 1946 6732 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 15th October, 2024 S.O. 4539(E). - Whereas, it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary in the public interest that for the transportation of Crude Oil from Paradip (Odisha) to Numaligarh (Assam) Via Siliguri (West Bengal) a pipeline should be laid in State of Bihar by Numaligarh Refinery Limited; And whereas, it appears to the Central Government that for the purpose of laying such pipelines, it is necessary to acquire the Right of User in Land under which the said pipelines are proposed to be laid and which is described in the Schedule annexed here to; Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962) the Central Government hereby declares its intention to acquire the Right of User therein; Any person interested in the land described in the annexed schedule may, within twenty-one (21) days from the date of publication of this notification in the Extraordinary Gazette of India (copies of the notification published in the gazette would be made available to the general public), object in writing to the Acquisition of the Right of User therein for laying of the pipelines under the land to Competent Authority, Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Purnia, Govt of Bihar.
