NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th October , 2023
S.O. 4561(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (3) of Section 58 and sub -Section 3(a) of
Section 110 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the Central Government hereby accords approval for peri od of twelve
months from the date of issue of this notification for transportation of three over dimensional consignments from
VTVL Kandla to Kandla Port, Gujarat by road with maximum safe laden weight/Gross Vehicles Weight and
dimensions, as mentioned in the schedule app ended hereto.
SCHEDULE
1. M/s PRISM logistics Private Limited is the transporter of M/s ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (India)
Private Limited, for transportation of three dimensional consignments for the aforesaid movement.
2. Following Prime Movers will be utilized in the movement of the subject consignment as detailed below: -

5. The above relaxation is subject to the conditions that: -
i. The specific route f or transportation of the these over dimensional consignments will be from VTVL -
Kandla to Kandla Port, Gujarat by road through -
- VTVL Kandla - Kandla Port, Gujarat (4 Kms)
ii. Load restrictions on various roads and bridges stipulated by the Public Works Dep artment/Local
Authorities/National Highway Authority of India will be observed and permission of such authorities will be
obtained before the vehicles are put on the roads. Movement of the trailers will be approved and closely
monitored by the concerned ro ad authorities in State/Union Territory/National Highway Authority of India
from safety point of view.
iii. The transporter will observe such restrictions as the State/Union Territory Government/National Highway
Authority of India may by order s pecify in this b ehalf.
iv. The transporter will obtain necessary prior permissions from the concerned departments of the State/Union
Territory Government for the removal of any objects like hoardings, poles, signboards, transmission line
shutdown etc. and observe such restric tions as the State/Union Territory Government/National Highway
Authority of India may by order specify in this behalf, before the vehicles are put on road. Cost of removal
and redevelopment of any object permitted by the State/Union Territo ry Government sh all be borne by
the M/s PRISM logistics Private Limited .
v. The transporter will give intimation at least ten days in advance and would need to obtain permission before
commencement of transit, from concerned authority of State or Union Territ ory Authorities/ National
Highway Authority of India en -route, in view of the oversized cargo. For each such movement, the timing
should be prescribed by the concerned authority.
vi. If so directed by the Public works Department of a State/Union Territory/Natio nal Highway Auth ority of
India, the loaded vehicles will not be allowed to pass over or under the bridges on the roads in that
State/Union Territory and in such cases applicants will have to make their own arrangements to cross the
rivers/drains.
vii. The trans porter would be liable to pay such amount to the Government of State/Union Territory/National
Highway Authority of India or any other affected person where any damage is caused to the roads or road
structures/bridges/other road users/persons directly or in directly due to the movement of the trailers.
viii. Coupling of the trailers along the length of the road will be permissible only for above movements.
ix. The said vehicles should be moved without any hindrance to the normal flow of traffic.
x. The vehicles should dis play all danger flags and lights, the vehicles should be preceded and followed by a
vehicle displaying prominently that a heavy load is passing.
xi. The maximum speed of the trailers for movement on the road shall not exceed 5 km/hr.
xii. The trailers shall be pain ted for the enti re width by yellow and black zebra stripes on the front and rear sides
duly marked for night time driving/parking suitably by red lamps at the front and rear and red flags on both
the sides during day time to indicate the extreme position o f the vehicle cl early.
xiii. The transporter will ensure that road taxes have been paid, fitness certificate, insurance cover(including Third
Party Insurance), National Permit, and PUC have been obtained in respect of all the vehicles to be utilized
during the a bove movement.
xiv. No change will be made in the Registration Certificates of the Trailers and Prime Movers as they are already
registered in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Nagaland and union
territory of Daman and Diu.
xv. In case of issue s arising of any vehicle(s) or part of vehicle(s) out sourced from other registered owners, the
transporter shall bear responsibility for the same.
xvi. Any issue of any nature arising during the transportation of subject consignment shall be th e responsibility of
the transporter.
