Detailed Summary

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Department of Health and Family Welfare), through Notification S.O. 3777(E) issued from New Delhi on 14th August, 2025, notifies the appointment of Dr. Chitra Sarkar as a Member of the Institute Body (IB) of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. This appointment is made by the Central Government in exercise of powers conferred by Section 5(1)(i) of the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry Act, 2008, and Section 3 of the JIPMER, Puducherry Rules, 2008. The term of Dr. Chitra Sarkar as a Member of the IB of JIPMER shall be governed by the provisions contained in Section 6 of the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry Act, 2008.
