The reconstituted EPC comprises 18 members, including Secretaries from various Ministries such as Health and Family Welfare, NITI Aayog, School Education, Higher Education, Women and Child Development, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Development of North Eastern Region, Expenditure, Social Justice and Empowerment, Tribal Affairs, AYUSH, and Housing and Urban Affairs, along with the Director General of Health Services (DGHS), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor (HFW), and two public health professionals. The EPC is empowered to establish its own rules and procedures for the Mission, adhering to the guidelines approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), and meetings will be convened as decided by the Chairperson.

The Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) note for extension of National Health Mission from 2021-22 to 2025-26 has been approved by Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance in their meeting held on 17.09.2021. The Cabinet Note for extension of National Health Mission from 2021-22 to 2025-26 is under process. The Expenditure EPC under NHM is hereby re-constituted as follows : 1.
