8120 GI/202 4 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5020] NEW DELHI, MON DAY , DECEMBER 16, 2024 /AGRAHAYANA 25, 194 6 CG-DL-E-17122024-259457 MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce ) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 16th December 2024 S.O. 5427(E). – In exerci se of the powers conferred by sub -section (3) of section 4 of the Tea Act, 1953 (29 of 1953), read with rules 4 and 5 of the Tea Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby appoints the following persons as members of the Tea Board, for a period of three years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette or till he ceases to be the Member of Lok Sabha, whichever is earlier and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Commerce and Industry, number S.R.O. 944, dated the 17th day of March, 1954, namely: – In the said notification, for serial numbers 6 and 7 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and the entries shall respectively be substituted, namely: - “6. Shri Gaurav Gogoi, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha Member representing Parliament under clause (b) of sub -rule (1) of rule 4. 7.
