5936 GI/202 4 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3614 ] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY , SEPTEMBER 17, 2024 /BHADRA 26, 194 6 CG-DL-E-17092024-257194 MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS (Department Of Chemicals And Petrochemicals) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 17 th September, 2024 POLYCARBONATE (QUALITY CONTROL) AMENDMENT, ORDER, 2024 S.O. 3953 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with sub -section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Polycarbonate (Quality Control) Order, 2021, namely: - 1. (1) This order may be called the Polycarbonate (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2024. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Polycarbonate (Quality Control) Order, 2021 , in paragraph 1, for sub -paragraph (2), the following sub - paragraph shall be substituted, namely: — “(2) It shall come into force on the 12th day of March, 2025”.
