NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th February, 2026
S.O. 850(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 4 of the
National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 (14 of 2021), the Central Government, hereby
makes the following amendments in the notification number S.O. 1248 (E), dated the 11th March, 2024 of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 11th March, 2024, namely:-
1. In the said notification,
(a) for paragraph 1, relating to "Chairperson of the Commission under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section
3 of the said Act, the following shall be substituted, namely:
Chairperson of the Commission appointed under clause (a) of sub-section(3) of section 3: Dr. Yagna Unmesh Shukla,
Principal, Government Physiotherapy College, and President, Gujarat State Council for Physiotherapy, is reappointed
for a period of two years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, with effect from the 8th day of January, 2026, till
31st day of January, 2027, being the date of her superannuation in the parent cadre, and thereafter on re-employment on
a contract basis for the remaining period of the said two-year term, on the usual terms and conditions applicable to
retired Government officers, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;";
(b) in paragraph 4, relating to “Part-time Members of the Commission under sub-clause (ii) of clause (d) of
sub-section (3) of section 3" in the Table, in column (2), for the entries against serial numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15,
17, and 19, the following entries shall respectively be substituted, namely:

2. The tenure of the Part-time Members of the Commission mentioned in sub-paragraph (b) above shall be for a period
of two years, with effect from the17th December, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
