NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th May, 2025
S.O. 2212(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment
(Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile
Ministry of Environment and Forests, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section
(ii), vide number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14th September, 2006, the Central Government hereby makes the further
amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change,
vide number S.O. 4361(E), dated the 19th September, 2022, namely:—
In the said notification, -
(i) in paragraph 1, for serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall
be substituted, namely: -
"1. Dr. Sudarsan Panda, IFS (Retd.) Chairman;";

(ii) for paragraph 2A, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:—
"2A. The tenure of Dr. Sudarsan Panda shall be co-terminus with the tenure of the other Members of the Authority.".
