The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, through Notification G.S.R. 228(E) dated April 16, 2025, announces that the Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Oilfields (Regulation and Development) Amendment Act, 2025 (6 of 2025), has appointed April 15, 2025, as the date on which the said Act shall come into force. G.S.R. 228(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the
Oilfields (Regulation and Development) Amendment Act, 2025 (6 of 2025), the Central Government
hereby appoints the 15th of April, 2025 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
