Detailed Summary

This notification, issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, appoints the date of commencement for the Oilfields (Regulation and Development) Amendment Act, 2025 (Act No. 6 of 2025). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the said Act, the Central Government has fixed the 15th of April, 2025, as the date on which the provisions of the Act shall come into force.
