Detailed Summary

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, in exercise of powers conferred by Clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), issued Corrigendum S.O. 2161(E) on 15th May, 2025. This corrigendum makes amendments to the notification S.O.1677(E), dated 17th April, 2018, which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub Section (ii). Specifically, in the said notification and its schedule, against S.No.1, under Col.No.2, the words 'Special District Revenue officer,(LA), National Highways, Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur Districts at Kancheepuram' are substituted with 'The Special District Revenue officer, LA, National Highways, Chengalpattu'. Additionally, against S.No.1, under Col.No.5, the word 'Kanchipuram' is substituted with 'Chengalpattu'. The principal notification S.O.No.1677(E) dated 17th April, 2018 is referenced as the basis for these amendments. The corrigendum is issued under F. No. NHAI/18011/249/2018/PIU Chennai / dated 26-3-2018 and signed by SHAIKH AMINKHAN, Director.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-15052025-263126 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2112] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, MAY 15, 2025/VAISAKHA 25, 1947 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS CORRIGENDUM New Delhi, the 15th May, 2025 S.O. 2161(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956)(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways S.O.1677(E), the dated 17th April, 2018, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub Section (ii), namely:- In the said notification and schedule thereof Against S.No.1, under Col.No.2, the words, 'Special District Revenue officer,(LA), National Highways, Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur Districts at Kancheepuram', the words and brackets "The Special District Revenue officer, LA, National Highways, Chengalpattu" shall be substituted. Against S.No.1, under Col.No.5, the 'Kanchipuram', the “Chengalpattu" shall be substituted.
