NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 14th March, 2024
S.O. 1 357(E).—Whereas, M/s. DLF Info City Hyderabad Limited (formerly M/s. DLF Commercial
Developer s Limited), had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005),
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a Special Economic Zon e for Information Technology and
Information Technology Enabled Services at Gachibowli Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in
the State of Telangana (erstwhile Andhra Pradesh);
AND, WHEREAS , the Central Government, in exercise of the p owers conferred by sub -section (1) of
section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, notified an area of 10.617
hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 66 9(E)
dated 26th April, 2007;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. DLF Info City Hyderabad Limited has now proposed for de -notification of 4.767
hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Telangana has given its approval to the pr oposal vide letter
No. 929/IT&C/Prom2/2006 dated 14th February, 2024. Further, such land parcels after de -notification will conform to
Land Use Guidelines/master plans of the respective State Government;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visak hapatnam Special Economic Zone has
recommended the proposal for de -notification of an area of 4.767 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub -section (8) of
section 3 of the sa id Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE , in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso to sub -section (1) of section 4 of
the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rul es, 2006, the
Central Government hereby de -notifies an area of 4.767 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 5.85 hectares. The
survey numbers and the area for de -notification are given below in the table, namely: -
