7129 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4706] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2023/KARTIKA 23 , 194 5 CG-DL-E-14112023-250036 1 2 3 4 5 6 4110/2756/1 2759/1 4115/2785/1 4201/4034/3858/2760/1 4207/4063/2779/1 4064/2780/1 4065/2780/1 4066/2780/1 4209/407 1/3860/2761 7667/7469/6899/1 [फा. सं. 11012/2/2014/LA/PIU -SML/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 13th November , 2023 S.O. 4915(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, S.O. 2317 (E) Dated: 25.05.2023 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issue d under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/four -laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of NH21 in the stretch of land from Km. 190.000 to Km. 310.400 (P -4/17 Jaral Colony Pandoh, District Mandi) in the district of KULLU in the state of HIMACHAL PRADESH. And wherea s the substance of the said notification has been published in “The Tribune” and “ Amar Ujala ” both dated 20.07.2023 under sub -section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the Competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competen t Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pur suance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
