L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2963] NEW DELHI ,WEDNES DAY, JULY 12, 2023/ASHADHA 21, 194 5 CG-DL-E-14072023-247318 1 2 3 4 5 6 12//23/1 12//24/2 22//12/1 22//17/2/2 22//18/2 22//19/1/1 22//19/2/1 22//24/2 27//1 426/1 134/1 [फा. सं. 900/3/PIU -LDH/BM/LOT6 -PKG6/LA/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICA TION New Delhi, the 11th July, 2023 S.O. 3092(E).—Whereas by the notifi cation of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, S.O No.672(E) dated 14.02.2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under su b-section (1) of section 3A of the Natio nal Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/four -laning, etc.), maintenanc e, management and operation of National Highway No. 205 -K on the stretch of land from Ludhiana to Ropar (From Km. 66.700 to Km. 91.000) with Spur Connectivity to Kharar (Km. 0.000 to 19.500 (District Administrative Complex Sector 76 SAS Nagar Mohali Punjab) in the district of S.A.S Nagar Mohali in the state of Punjab. And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Punjabi Jagran (Punjabi)” and “Times of India (English)” dated 18.02.2023 under sub -section (3) of section 3A of t he said Act; And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt o f the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the afores aid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolute ly in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
