L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2967] NEW DELHI ,WEDNES DAY, JULY 12, 2023/ASHADHA 21, 194 5 CG-DL-E-14072023-247317 1 2 3 4 5 6 [फा. सं. : RW/PAT/NH/19/GANGA/2016/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICA TION New Delhi, the 11th July, 2023 S.O. 3096(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, number S.O. - 3842(E), dated the 16 August, 2022, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section (ii) on 16 August, 2022 and issued under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Sch edule annexed to the said notification for building (Constuction of new bridge with approaches parallel to existing 4 -Lane MG Setu), maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No. - 19, in the stretch of land from Km 207.200 to Km. 214.615 (R amashish Chowk Hajipur, Vaishali Km. 207.200 to Zero mile, Patna Km. 221.700) i n District of Vaishali in the state of BIHAR; And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Hindustan” and " Prabhat Khabar" dated 24.10.2022; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas objections have be en received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the compete nt authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefor e, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Governmen t hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquir ed for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this not ification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shal l vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
