5909 GI/202 4 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3601 ] NEW DELH I, FRIDAY , SEPTEMBER 13, 2024/BHADRA 22, 1946 CG-DL-E-13092024-257161 MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS (Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 13th September , 2024 ETHYLENE DICHLORIDE (QUALITY CONTROL) AMENDMENT, ORDER, 2024 S.O. 3936 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with sub -section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Governm ent, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Ethylene Dichloride (Quality Control) Order, 2021, namely: - (1) This order may be called the Ethylene Dichloride (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2024. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ethylene Dichloride (Quality Control) Order, 2021 , in paragr aph 1, for sub -paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely: — “(2) It shall come into force on the 12th day of March, 2025”.
