RW-MD/TN/NH -49Extn/13/2010 -11/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11th July, 2023 S.O. 3087(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, S.O. 1637(E) Dated 5th April, 2023 , published in the Gazette of India No. 1558 Dated 5th April, 2023,, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section (ii) issued under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the s aid Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for Construction of Atchampathu, Viratipathu Bypass from Km 6.6 to 10.4 of NH -49 Extn (New NH -85) in the district of MADU RAI in the state of TAMIL NADU And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Dinakaran” and “Times of India” both dated 25 April 2023; under sub -section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas objections have been receiv ed and the same have been considered and disallowed by the competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon r eceipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for th e aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest ab solutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
