The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, through notification S.O. 2436(E) dated 12th May, 2026, declares the acquisition of land for the construction, maintenance, management, and operation of NH325 in the stretch from Km. 26.8 to Km. 73.6 in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. This declaration follows a previous intention to acquire land, published via S.O. 5488-E dated 28th November, 2025, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956). The substance of the earlier notification was published in "Rajasthan Patrika" and "Dainik Bhaskar" on 07/12/2025, as required by sub-section (3) of section 3A. The Competent Authority considered and settled objections filed under Section 3-C of the said Act and submitted its report to the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 3D. Upon receipt of this report and in exercise of powers under sub-section (1) of section 3D, the Central Government declares that the land specified in the Schedule should be acquired. Furthermore, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D, the Central Government declares that upon publication of this notification, the land detailed in the Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances. The Schedule specifies two private plots (Survey/Plot Nos. 434 and 435) of 'RETALI' type land in Village Mawri, Taluk Siwana, Barmer District, Rajasthan, totaling 0.1086 hectares, along with names of land owners.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-13052026-272525 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2344] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, MAY 12, 2026/VAISAKHA 22, 1948 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 12th May, 2026 S.O. 2436(E).-Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, 5488-E Dated:28/11/2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for construction of Toll Plaza Maintenance, management and operation of NH325 in the stretch of land from Km. 26.8 to Km. 73.6 in the district of BARMER in the state of RAJASTHAN And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in"Rajasthan Patrika"Dated 07/12/2025 and "Dainik Bhaskar" Dated 07/12/2025 under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas the Competent Authority has received objections filed under Section 3-C, considered and settled the same appropriately; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
