The substance of the intention notification was published in 'The Times of India' and 'Nai Duniya' on March 13, 2026, as per sub-section (3) of section 3A. No objections were received. Subsequently, the competent authority submitted its report to the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 3D. Based on this report and in exercise of powers under sub-section (1) and (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government now declares that the specified land should be acquired and shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances, upon publication of this notification. The land to be acquired, with a total area of 6.971 Hectares, is located within NH-346 from Km. 50+600 to Km. 87+900 (Jharkheda-Berasia to Vidisha-Road) in Taluk Vidisha, Village Vilori, District Vidisha, State Madhya Pradesh, and includes Government owned plots (Survey/Plot Numbers 160, 163, 80, 81) described as Rasta, Pahad, and Sadak, owned by the Madhya Pradesh Government.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-13052026-272521 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2333] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, MAY 12, 2026/VAISAKHA 22, 1948 3390 GI/2026 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 12th May, 2026 S.O. 2425(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping Road Transport and Highways, Department of Road Transport And Highways number S.O.1064(E) Dated: 27/02/2026 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for (Widening/Four-Laning, etc.) Maintenance, management and operation of NH-346 on the stretch of land from Km. 0+000 to K.m. 87+900 in (Jharkheda-Berasia to Vidisha-Road) (Tehsil-Vidisha) in the district of Vidisha, in the state of MADHYA PRADESH. And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “The Times of India" and "Nai Duniya" both dated 13.03.2026 ; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas no objection has been received from any person by the competent authority. And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
