NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th April, 2026
S.O. 1853(E).—Whereas, M/s. Tata Semiconductor Manufacturing Private Limited, has proposed under
section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a
Special Economic Zone (SEZ) exclusively for Electronic Hardware and Software including IT/ITES at Plot No. 255
and 238 (part-2) [part of Survey No. 151, Dholera Village], Industrial Zone in town Planning Scheme 2A, Dholera
Special Investment Region, Gujarat;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3
of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section
(10) of section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the above Special Economic Zone
on 17th March, 2026;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules,
2006, hereby notifies the 66.166 hectares area comprising the Survey numbers and the area given below in the table,
namely: -

AND, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby constitutes a Committee to be called the
Approval Committee for the above Special Economic Zone for the purposes of section 14 of the said Act consisting
of the following Chairperson and Members, namely:-

AND, THEREFORE, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of
section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby appoints the 9th April, 2026 as the date
from which the above Special Economic Zone shall be deemed to be Inland Container Depot under section 7 of the
Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962).
