Concurrently, nine older standards (IS 4090-1967, IS 6882-1973, IS 7506-1987, IS 11282: 2000, IS 12783: 1989, IS 13159 (Part 1): 1993, IS 13218 (Part 1): 1992, IS 14795: 2000, and IS 17175: 2020) are to be withdrawn on September 5, 2026, but will remain in force concurrently until that date.
