NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th February, 2025
S.O. 696(E). In Pursuance of sub section (a) of section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipeline
(Acquisition of Right of Users in Land) Act 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter called the said act), the Central
Government hereby authorizes the person mentioned in column (1) of the table given below to perform the functions
of the Competent authority under the said Act for IndianOil Corporation Limited in respect of areas mentioned in
column (2) for its operational petroleum pipelines laid under the said Act mentioned in column (3) of the said Table:

Earlier notified Competent Authority for Indian Oil Corporation Limited in Madhya Pradesh State, Shri Vijay Jain,
Deputy Manager Operations, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, vide SO No 1657 dt 11.06.2009 published in the
Gazette of India dated 07.06.2009 stands de-notified.
The Notification will be effective from the date of its issue.
