Publication of notification under Section 3D

THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY CG-DL-E-13022024-252048 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 12th February, 2024 S.O. 619(E).—Whereas the Central Government had, in the exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, published an intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to that notification for the construction of Toll Plaza on National Highway No. 8 in the State of Rajasthan, District Rajsamand; And whereas the substance of the said notification was published under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act in the newspapers; And whereas objections were received and the same have been considered by the competent authority and have been disallowed; And whereas the competent authority has, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the Schedule below, which is required for the construction of Toll Plaza on National Highway No. 8, be acquired.
