NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 7th August, 2025
S.O. 3631(E).— In exercise of powers conferred by Section 4 of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences
Act, 1956 (25 of 1956) as amended by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2012 (37 of 2012),
the Central Government hereby nominates Dr. Ashok Kumar Mahapatra to be member of Institute Body of All India
Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal in place of Dr. Sunil Malik and for that purpose makes the following amendment
in the notification of Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Number Z-28016/177/2019-
PMSSY.IV dated the 08th May, 2023 published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) vide S.O.
2163(E) dated the 11th May, 2023:
In the said notification, against serial number 9 and the entry relating thereto, the following to be substituted,
namely:-
9. Dr. Ashok Kumar Mahapatra
The term of Dr. Ashok Kumar Mahapatra as member of the Institute Body of AIIMS Bhopal shall be governed by
the provisions contained in Section 6 of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1956.

Number Z-28016/177/2019-PMSSY.IV dated the 08th May, 2023 published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-Section (ii) vide S.O. 2164(E) dated the 11th May, 2023 and in exercise of the power conferred by section 7(1) of
the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1956 (25 of 1956), as amended by the All India Institute of Medical
Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2012 (37 of 2012), the Central Government hereby nominates Dr. Ashok Kumar
Mahapatra as the President of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal.
