L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3457] NEW DEL HI, FRIDAY , AUGUST 11 , 2023/ SHRAVANA 20, 1945 CG-DL-E-12082023-248059 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIF ICATION New Delhi , the 10th August , 2023 S.O. 3611(E).—Whereas by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number S.O. 1062 (E) dated 21st February, 2019, the Central Government has authorised the National Highway Authority of India to collect, either through its official or through a contractor for the use o f four lane of Lambra - Shahkot - Moga - Barnala Section of NH -71 from existing Km. 12. 000 to Km. 136.070 including construction of Nakodar, Shahkot, Dharamkot and Barnala bypass from existing Km. 136.070 of NH -71 to existing Km. 149 of NH -64 in the State of Pun jab. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Nat ional Highways Act, 1956 (48 to 1956), read with rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and collection) Rules, 2008, the Central Government hereby makes fo llowing amendment in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways bearing S.O. 1062(E), dated 21st February, 2019, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub -section (ii), namely: (i) Para-1 shall be substituted as under: - Whereas by notification of the Govern ment of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number S.O.380 (E) dated 24th January, 2019 issued under Section 11 of the National Highways Authority of India Ac t, 1988 (68 of 1988), the Central Government has entrus ted the four lane with paved shoulder of Lambra - Shahkot - Moga - Barnala Section of NH -71 [ New NH no -703] from existing km 12.000 to km 136.070 including Nakodar, Shahkot, Dharamkot bypasses and Barnal a bypass from existing Km 136.070 of NH -71 to existing Km 149.000 of NH -64 in the State of Punjab to the National Highways Authority of India (herein after referred to as the Authority); (ii) In Table -2 under para 1, Table -3 under para -2 and Table -4 under para-3, the location of Fee Plaza at Km 137.450 shall stand revised as under: Existing Location of Toll Plaza (Chainage) Revised Location of the Toll Plaza (Chainage) At existing km 137.450 [design chainage km 132.965] of NH-71 [New NH-703] near village Jagjitpura in Barnala district.
