Notification for appointment of ex officio members of NMC

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-12072024-255379 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2581] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, JULY 11, 2024/ASHADHA 20, 1946 4167 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (Department of Health and Family Welfare) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11th July, 2024 S.O. 2717(E).— Whereas on 24th September, 2020, the National Medical Commission was constituted in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 read with sub-section (1) of section 5 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 (30 of 2019) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act); And whereas the Central Government, in pursuance of clause (g) of sub-section (3) of section 4 of the said Act nominated Dr. Surekha Kishore, Executive Director, All India Institute Of Medical Sciences, Gorakhpur as Member, ex officio in the National Medical Commission, vide notification number S.O.3260(E), dated the 24th September, 2020; And Whereas, the Central Government hereby nominates Dr. M Srinivas, Director, All India Institute Of Medical Sciences, Delhi as Member, ex-officio under the said clause (g) of sub-section(3) of section 4 of the said Act; And whereas the Central Government, in pursuance of the clause of clause (h) of sub-section (3) of section 4 of the said Act, nominated Dr. Rajendra A Badwe, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai as second Member, ex officio in the National Medical Commission, vide notification number S.O.3260(E), dated the 24th September, 2020; And Whereas, the Central Government hereby nominates Dr.C.S.Pramesh, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, as second Member, ex officio under the said clause (h) of sub-section (3) of section 4 of the said Act; Now, therefore, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 4 read with sub-section (1) of section 5 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, number S.O.3260 (E), dated the 24th September, 2020 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) dated the 24th September,2020,namely:- In the said notification, under paragraph (2), in the table,- (i) for clause (g) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- +-----------------------+------------------------------------------------------+---------------------+ | Clause of section | Member | Status of Membership| | 4(3) of the Act | | | +=======================+======================================================+=====================+ | (1) | (2) | (3) | +-----------------------+------------------------------------------------------+---------------------+ | “(g) | Dr.M Srinivas, Director, All India | Member, ex officio";| | | Institute Of Medical Sciences, Delhi | | +-----------------------+------------------------------------------------------+---------------------+ (ii) in clause (h), for the entries relating to the second Member, the following shall be substituted, namely:- +-----------------------+------------------------------------------------------+---------------------+ | Clause of section | Member | Status of Membership| | 4(3) of the Act | | | +=======================+======================================================+=====================+ | (1) | (2) | (3) | +-----------------------+------------------------------------------------------+---------------------+ | “(h) | Dr.C.S.Pramesh, Tata Memorial | Member, ex officio".| | | Hospital, Mumbai | | +-----------------------+------------------------------------------------------+---------------------+ [F.
