Kochi Salem Pipeline Private Limited. (A Joint venture of BPCL and IOCL) And whereas, coples of the said notifications were made available to the public from 04.01.2023. And w hereas, the Competent Authority in pursuance of sub - section (1) of section 6 of the said Act has submitted his report to the Central Government. And whereas, the Central Government, after considering the said report is satisfied that the Right of User in the Land specified in the Schedule appended to this notification should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 6 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the Right of User in the s aid Land specified in the Schedule appended to this notification is hereby acquired for laying the pipeline; And further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (4) of section 6 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs that the ri ght of user in the said Land shall, instead of vesting in the Central Government, vest from the date of this publication of declaration in the Kochi Salem Private Limited (KSPPL) free from all encumbrances. Kochi -Salem Pipeline Private Limited (KSPPL) shal l be exclusively liable for any compensation in terms of section 10 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 and no suit, claim or legal proceeding would lie against the Central Government on any mater relati ng to pipeline.
