This notification establishes Amendment No. 1 for two Indian Standards, both dated February 2026 and established on 02 February 2026. The first is IS 1970: 2024, titled "Crop Protection Equipment — Hand-Operated Compression Knapsack Sprayer - Specification (Sixth Revision)", and the second is IS 2802: 2022, titled "Ice Cream and Kulfi — Specification (First Revision)". For both standards, the previous version without the amendment will remain in force until 01 August 2026. The notification was signed by Chitra Gupta, Scientist G & DDG (Hallmarking and Training), and published in The Gazette of India on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
