Sub-regulation (12) is substituted to mandate the production of requisitioned physical or digital documents or a non-availability certificate within one month, with an exception for documents against public interest or State security. A new clause (iii) is inserted in sub-regulation (21), stipulating that the Inquiring Authority must conclude the inquiry and submit its report within six months of appointment, with provisions for extensions not exceeding six months at a time, granted by the Disciplinary Authority for recorded reasons. Furthermore, the entire Schedule to the 1976 Regulations is replaced, outlining the Disciplinary, Appellate, and Reviewing Authorities for various officer grades, from Junior Management Grade Scale-I and II up to Top Executive Grade Scale-VIII, across all offices or branches.
