This corrigendum modifies the Hindi version of sub-rules within rule 48 of the RPF Rules, 1987. Specifically, in the Ministry's prior notification G.S.R. 951(E) dated 3rd December, 1987, which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), the sub-rules in rule 48 of the Hindi text shall now be read as "48.1 (i) & (ii) and 48.2 (i) & (ii)", replacing the previous reading of "48 (क) (1) & (2) and 48 (ख) (1) & (2)". The corrigendum was signed by Maheshwar Singh, Inspector General (Administration), and references File No. 2025/Sec(Spl)/1/7.
