The Land Ports Authority of India, with the previous approval of the Central Government and in exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 35 read with section 10 of the Land Ports Authority of India Act, 2010 (31 of 2010), has issued the Land Ports Authority of India (Officers and Other Employees) Recruitment Amendment Regulations, 2025. These regulations, published in New Delhi on September 9, 2025, and bearing F.No. E-14011/3/2024/LPAI.(III), shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. The amendment specifically modifies the Land Ports Authority of India (Officers and Other Employees) Recruitment Regulations, 2016, by substituting the entry in column (1) against Sl. No. 7 in the Schedule with "7 Port Administrator.". The principal regulations were originally published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part III, Section 4, vide notification number 13/12/2012-LPAI, dated 3rd March, 2016, and subsequently amended vide notification number E-14011/1/2020-LPAI, dated 23rd December, 2020, and again vide notification number E-14011/1/2020-LPAI, dated 13th December, 2022. F.No. E-14011/3/2024/LPAI.(III).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub- section (2) of section 35 read with section 10 of the Land Ports Authority of India Act, 2010 (31 of 2010), the Land Ports Authority of India, with the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Land Ports Authority of India (Officers and Other Employees) Recruitment Regulations, 2016, namely:-- 1. (1) These regulations may be called the Land Ports Authority of India (Officers and Other Employees) Recruitment Amendment Regulations, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Land Ports Authority of India (Officers and Other Employees) Recruitment Regulations, 2016, in the Schedule against Sl. No. 7, in column (1), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:- "7 Port Administrator.".
