L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-11072026-274398 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3633] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JULY 10, 2026/ASHADHA 19, 1948 5260 GI/2026 (1) MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 10th July, 2026 S.O. 3795(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Additional District Magistrate (E), Dist.-Varanasi, as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from Design Chainage Km 0+000 to Km 19+420 of the National Highway Development of a Link/Connector Corridor connecting the National Highway-31 (NH-31) and Varanasi Ring Road along the River Varuna for Decongestion of Varanasi City for building (widening / two/four-Six laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation in the State of Uttar Pradesh (Varuna River Elevated Corridor) as specified in the Schedule given below.
