Detailed Summary

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, through notification S.O. 4636(E) dated 8th October, 2025, in exercise of powers under sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 3 read with section 4 of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 (14 of 2021), has further amended notification number S.O. 1248 (E), dated 11th March, 2024. The amendment substitutes the entry for item (c) against serial number (ix) in column (2) of the Table under paragraph (2) concerning 'Members under clause (c) of sub-section (3) of section 3'. The new entry designates 'Dr. Saka Vinod Kumar, Medical Superintendent, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Puducherry' as the member. The principal notification S.O. 1248 (E) was originally published on 11th March, 2024, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (ii), and was last amended by notification S.O. 1066 (E) dated 28th February, 2025.
