It declared the intention to acquire land for building (widening/four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management, and operation of National Highway No. 146 [Bhopal (Ratnagiri Tiraha) to Vidisha (Morikodi) section] in the stretch from Km. 0.000 to Km. 1.900 in the district of BHOPAL in the state of MADHYA PRADESH. The substance of the intention notification was published in News Paper "Patrika" and "Free Press" both dated 26/03/2025, under sub-section (3) of section 3A. The Competent Authority received, considered, and settled objections filed under Section 3-C and submitted its report to the Central Government in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D. Upon receiving this report and exercising powers under sub-section (1) of section 3D, the Central Government declares that the land in the Schedule should be acquired. Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D, the Central Government declares that upon publication of this notification, the land specified in the Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances. The Schedule details land in Taluk: Govindpura, Village: Hataikheda and Piplani Chamaran, in District BHOPAL, State MADHYA PRADESH, totaling 1.911 hectares, including Government and Private land of various types, with specific survey/plot numbers and names of owners/interested persons listed. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-10052025-263032 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2031] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2025/VAISAKHA 19, 1947 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th May, 2025 S.O. 2076(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, 1161 Dated:12/03/2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intension to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No. 146 [Bhopal (Ratnagiri Tiraha) to Vidisha (Morikodi) section] in the stretch of land from Km. 0.000 to Km. 1.900 in the district of BHOPAL in the state of MADHYA PRADESH. And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in News Paper "Patrika" and "Free Press" both dated 26/03/2025; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas the Competent Authority has received objections filed under Section 3-C, considered and settled the same appropriately; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
