S.O. 2064(E) dated 9th May, 2025, issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, notifies that in exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2) of the annexed Schedule as the competent authorities to perform the functions under the said Act. This authorization is effective from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. It applies to the stretch of land specified in column (3) of the Schedule, relating to the state, districts, taluk, and villages mentioned in columns (4), (5), (6), and (7) respectively, for the purpose of Construction of Mahendra Tanya Bridge at km. 92.250 on NH 326 in the State of ODISHA. The Schedule specifies Tahasildar, Paralakhemundi as the Competent Authority for Land Acquisition (CALA) for the stretch NH326A KM 92.25 TO KM 0 in the State of ODISHA, Gajapati District, Paralakhemundi Taluk, covering villages Upallada, Tottagumuda, and Machamara.
