In accordance with Sub-rule (1) of Rule (15) of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018, this notification establishes the Indian Standard IS/ISO 21001 : 2025, titled "Educational Organizations — Management Systems for Educational Organizations — Requirements with Guidance for Use (First Revision)," effective December 5, 2025. Concurrently, the superseded standard, IS/ISO 21001: 2018, which shares the same title, will remain in force until its withdrawal on June 5, 2026.
