RO/NH -12037/11/2022 -23/AP/South/3D ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th November , 2023 S.O. 4861(E).—Whereas by the not ification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, 3083 (E) Dated :11/07/2023 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub - section (ii) issued under sub -section (1) of section 3A of the Nationa l Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956 ) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for buliding (widening / two -laning, etc ) maintenance , management and operation of of National Highway No . 216 on the stretch of land from km . 126.100 to 10 .800 (Gudimellanka to Seetaramapuram Section ) Bypass to Narsapur Town in the district of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Konaseema in the state of ANDHRA PRADESH, And w hereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Andhra Jyothi ” and “THE HINDU ” both dated 15.07.2023 ; under sub -section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas objections have been received and the same have been considered and disallowed by the competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the compete nt authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub -section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pu rsuance of sub -section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances .
