L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-09102025-266795 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 657] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2025/ASVINA 16, 1947 6767 GI/2025 (1) THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS (Department of Telecommunications) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th October, 2025 G.S.R. 741(E).— Whereas, the draft of the Telecommunications (Authorisation for Provision of Main Telecommunication Services) Rules, 2025 was published, as required by section 56(1) of the Telecommunications Act, 2023 (44 of 2023), in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Communications, vide number G.S.R. 606(E), dated the 5th September, 2025, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby, before the expiry of the period of thirty days from the date on which the copies of the Official Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public; And whereas, the said draft rules were made available to the public on the 8th September, 2025; And whereas, considering the requests received from the stakeholders for extending the timeline of sending comments on the said draft rules and larger implications of the said rules, the Central Government hereby extends the timeline of sending objections or suggestions on the draft rules upto 21.10.2025.
