NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd September, 2026
S.O. 4934(E). — Whereas, M/s. Delta Electronics India Private Limited, had proposed under
section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to
set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Electronic Hardware and Software including
Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services Special Economic Zone at Plot
No.1, Industrial Park, Kurubarapalli, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)
of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area
of 10.96 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification
Number S.O. 1106(E) dated 28th February, 2019;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Delta Electronics India Private Limited has now proposed for inclusion of
additional area of 1.14 hectares as a part of above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Board of Approval for special economic Zones after considering the said
proposal has recommended for inclusion of additional area of 1.14 hectares as a part of above Special
Economic Zone;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones
Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 1.14 hectares, as a part of above
Special Economic Zone, thereby making the total area of the Special Economic Zone as 12.10 hectares. The
survey number and the area for additional area notification given below in the table, namely: -
