L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-09082024-256205 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3061] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, AUGUST 8, 2024/ SHRAVANA 17, 1946 MINISTRY OF EDUCATION (Department of Higher Education) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th August, 2024 S.O. 3211(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Architects Act, 1972 (20 of 1972), the Central Government, after consultation with the Council, hereby makes the following amendments further to amend the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Education and Social Welfare, number G.S.R. 68(E), dated the 21st February, 1973, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), dated the 21st February, 1973, namely:— In the said notification,- (a) under the heading “U.S.A.", in serial number 8(b), after entry number 36, the following entry shall be inserted, namely:- "37. Master of Architecture 2, awarded by the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), Los Angeles, USA.”; (b) under the heading “UAE” the serial number 16 shall be renumbered as “16(1)” thereof and after serial number 16(1) as so renumbered, the following entry shall be inserted, namely;- "(2) Bachelor of Architecture awarded by the American University in Dubai, UAE.” 2.
