NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd June, 2026
S.O. 2945(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940
(23 of 1940), the Central Government hereby appoints the following Drugs Inspectors (Medical Devices) as Inspectors
for the purpose of the said Act for the whole of India for implementation of the Medical Devices Rules, 2017, namely:-

2. The Inspectors so appointed are hereby authorised to exercise the powers and shall perform the duties as
specified in sections 21 and 22 of the said Act and the Medical Devices Rules, 2017 made thereunder.
