The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, through Notification S.O. 2070(E) dated 9th May, 2025, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), declares its intention to acquire land for the public purpose of building, maintenance, management and operation of Greenfield Highway in the stretch from Km. 0 to Km. 11.1 (Tangi) in the district of KHORDHA in the state of ODISHA. A brief description of the required land is provided in the Schedule. Any person interested in the said land may object to its use for the stated purpose within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, as per sub-section (1) of section 3C of the Act. Objections must be made in writing to the Competent Authority, namely, Tahasildar Tangi, stating the grounds. The Competent Authority will provide a hearing opportunity to the objector and may allow or disallow objections by order after enquiry, with such order being final under sub-section (2) of section 3C. Land plans and other details are available for inspection at the Competent Authority's office. The land to be acquired includes areas in villages Ambhabil, Bagheiput, Rameswar, Nayakot, and Gayabandha within Tangi Taluk, KHORDHA district, ODISHA, totaling 1.6451638 Hectares.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-09052025-263009 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2025] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2025/VAISAKHA 19, 1947 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th May, 2025 S.O. 2070(E).— In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for building (widening/two lane with paved shoulder/four laning etc.,), maintenance, management and operation of Greenfield Highway in the stretch of land from Km. 0 to Km. 11.1 (Tangi) in the district of KHORDHA in the state of ODISHA, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(1) of section 3C of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely, Tahasildar Tangi in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final.
