L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-09042026-271670 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1704] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2026/CHAITRA 18, 1948 MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 7th April, 2026 S.O. 1772(E).—Whereas by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number S.O.4457 (E) dated the 13th December, 2019, Central Government has authorised National Highway Authority of India (hereinafter referred to as the “Authority”) to collect, either through its officials or through a contractor for the use of four lane of Ranchi-Piska More -Bijupara Section from Design Km. 3.600 to Km. 55.00 (Existing Km. 3.600 to Km. 55.000) of NH-75 in the State of Jharkhand. And whereas, the said notification was amended vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways bearing number S.O. 1188 (E), dated the 16th March, 2022. Now, in exercise of powers conferred by section 7 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes following further amendments in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways bearing S.O. No. 4457 (E) dated 13.12.2019 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), and subsequently amended by S.O. 1188 (E), dated the 16th March, 2022, namely: - i. In the said notification, Paragraph-1 shall stand revised as under: "Now, therefore, in the exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the national Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), read with rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008 (hereinafter referred to as the "rules", the Central Government hereby levies the fee at the rates specified in column (2) of Table 1 for net road length of 52.288 kms [Table 2] and for equivalent structure length of 27.120 kms (having length more than 60m) (having length of structure 2.712 kms [Table-3]) for the use of four or more lane section of Ranchi-Piska More-Bijupara Section from design km. 0.000 to km. 55.000 (existing km. 0.000 to km. 55.000) of NH-75 (New NH-39)in the state of Jharkhand and authorises the authority to collect, either through its officials or through a contractor, the said fee, namely:- " ii. In the said notification, Point-9, shall be revised as under:- "9. The estimated capital cost of the project is Rupees 995.68 crores. The capital cost is subject to variation as the activities of land acquisition, utility shifting, tree cutting, etc., are yet to be completed and the final capital cost will be notified separately. The Authority shall maintain the record of the recovery of capital cost through user fee realised." The above amendment shall come into effect after construction of Elevated Corridor from Km. 0.000 to Km. 3.600. on NH-75 in the state of Jharkhand. [F.
