The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, vide Notification S.O. 1800(E) dated 8th April, 2026, has declared the Central Government's intention to acquire land for the public purpose of building (including widening to two lane with paved shoulder or four laning), maintenance, management, and operation of National Highway No. 146 [Bhopal (Ratnagiri Tiraha) - Vidisha (Morikodi) section]. This action is taken in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956). The land to be acquired is located in the stretch from Km. 8.825 to Km. 48.718 in the district of RAISEN, state of MADHYA PRADESH. Any person interested in the said land may object within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in writing, to the Competent Authority, namely, the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Raisen, as per sub-section (1) of section 3C of the Act. The Competent Authority will provide an opportunity of being heard and its order under sub-section (2) of section 3C shall be final. Land plans and other details are available for inspection at the Competent Authority's office. The Schedule provides a brief description of the land, including private and government parcels across villages like Bilar Koh, Sehatganj, Neemkheda, Sadalatpur, Sendora, Ghatla, Khanpura, Barla, Pipalkheda, and Gopalpur in Raisen Taluk, Raisen District, Madhya Pradesh, totaling 1.988 Hectares.

Any person interested in the said land may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(1) of section 3C of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely, Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Raisen in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final. The land plans and other details of the land to be acquired under their notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority.
