Corrigendum reg RPLI Bonus for FY 2025 26

This corrigendum issued by the Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts, revises the bonus rates for Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) policies. Effective from April 1, 2025, for the financial year 2025-26, the revised rates per ₹1000 sum assured are: ₹60 for Whole Life Assurance (WLA), ₹48 for Endowment Assurance (EA), and ₹45 for Anticipated Endowment Assurance (AEA). For Convertible Whole Life Assurance (CWLA), the WLA bonus rate applies, switching to the EA rate upon conversion. A terminal bonus of ₹20 per ₹10,000 sum assured, up to a maximum of ₹1000, is applicable for policies of 20 years or more. These rates are based on the actuarial valuation of the RPLI fund as of March 31, 2024, and interim bonus payments will continue at these rates until the next valuation.
